I squint

Towards you, Sun

My eye lashes

Butterfly wings

Flicker in my vision

Kaleidoscopes

Transparent

Fragile

Your warmth

On my neck

Like the first sip

Of tea

The gentle touch

Of a friend

Last time I looked

You were lost

Behind a sheet of grey

The heavens shook

You flooded fast.

It changed the world

But now you’re back

So soon

It comforts, oh it comforts me

To see

That Mother Nature

Changes her mind

Just as much

As me
