Work 1:1 with me

‘The universe buries strange jewels within each one of us, then stands back to see if we can find them.’

-Elizabeth Gilbert

Join me in my  studio at Stepney City Farm for 1:1 sessions. For those who have been to a group workshops and/or want to dive deeper into the creative process. You might want to learn to paint with oils, or maybe you want guidance in using creativity to process a challenging time. Or perhaps you just want a space to be  inspired and see what unfolds.

In the past I’ve guided an eclectic range of individuals back into their creativity:

An ex-lung surgeon started coming to me because he was burnt out. Through my workshops he uncovered a volcanic creative force within him which is is now harnessing in every aspect of his life. He’s changed jobs, renovated his house and works part time as a carpenter, with his own workshop.

An ex-lawyer wanted to process unsuccessful IVF. She is now an exhibiting artist alongside being a hands on Mum.

An ex-Buddhist who now works in the corporate world has come to me to re-discover his love of art and to make process his feelings around Buddhism.

Parents in the midst of separation sent their son to me, recognising he had an incredible natural flair for art which his school wasn’t bringing out. Through my workshops the nine year old was able to process his feelings about his home life whilst nourishing his creative gifts to his fullest potential.

Whatever your situation, get in touch and we can discuss how we can co-create together to help you feel more like yourself, and more excited about life!

TESTIMONIALS

Jim B.

Where did you come across Georgie’s workshops and what inspired you to book?

I have been on the Stepney City Farm emailing list for many years, I saw Georgie’s mindfulness art class mentioned and attended on a whim that same day! I was at the start of a transition point in life and the session opened a channel to long forgotten creative instincts that have now become an important part of my life

What did you learn about yourself through working 1:1 with Georgie?

In the 1:1 sessions with Georgie we explored different aspects of creativity and I was able to express myself verbally and artistically in a way that felt authentic and supported. The external creative aspects mirrored the internal process of transformation and allowed me the space to reflect and have many personal insights.

How is your life different now?

Creative expression is now an invaluable, necessary, and everyday part of my life, I have explored many different media and continue to do so in my new studio/workshop. My work with Georgie is ongoing and has evolved over time, I continue to find support and inspiration from our sessions. I have revaluated each part of my life in turn and made authentic changes as a result, the workshops and creative work together have been the catalyst for this period of deep reflection and transformation as well as supporting the journey.

Who would you recommend this work to and why?

I don’t think there is anyone who wouldn’t benefit from more creative expression in their lives and I highly recommend doing this work with Georgie. She has a unique blend of broad artistic talent across multiple domains combined with deep empathy and intuition to support and guide your journey. Anyone wanting to add more balance to their life or delve deeper into a supported creative journey of self-discovery would benefit.

Any other things you’d like to share about Georgie’s process and insights?

There is an openness, compassion and inclusivity that run a thread through both Georgie herself and her artwork and it is deeply inspiring to be in that environment working with her.
