Since I was a toddler I’ve explored, consciously and unconsciously, creativity’s capacity to enhance all aspects of life.  Painting, sculpting, writing music, singing, dancing and writing are some channels for my own creativity.

These passions have led me on a winding journey, twisting and turning through a degree in English Literature & History of Art, a stint in a band, recording an E.P. of my own music, completing a Fine Art Masters, a  ten-year (and counting) career as an exhibiting artist, a writer of poetry, prose & articles, many courses on psychology and philosophy, obsessional Forro & Salsa dancing, and so on.

All these tributaries make up the river of my life, in its flowing fullness! And, for the past decade, I've guided hundreds of people to (re)discover their own creative power; to use creativity as a force to connect to their deeper essence and to find freedom.

I harness creativity as a guiding force

for living a rich and joyful life

“it’s my passion to work with Communities, from mums to neuro-divergent people. I create an environment of connection and freedom for those who may not normally have access to this.”

ARTIST STATEMENT

As alchemists allegedly turned base metal to gold, Mason is led by her materials and their fatalistic interactions to create works that mirror and catalyse her own ‘archaeology of soul’.

My interdisciplinary work is a manifestation of an ongoing excavation into my unconscious. A deep interest in psychology, particularly Jungian shadow work, Internal Family Systems and Attachment Theory, informs my practice. I am also deeply interested in the occult,

I collect fragmented and buried objects from my surroundings, recently the shore of the Thames and the CUF in Lisbon. Using this raw matter as a metaphor for fragmented and buried parts of my own bodymind, I create sculptures, installations, performances and music that redefine such 'objects' as visible and valuable.

I am also deeply interested in alchemy and the occult. As alchemists allegedly turned base metal to gold, I am led by my materials and their fatalistic interactions to create works that mirror and catalyse my own ‘archaeology of soul’.  Meanwhile, I hope the work might inspire viewers to acknowledge and embrace their own discomfort as a path towards collective healing and societal evolution.

Based in East London, I received my MA in Fine Art from City and Guilds of London University in 2023, shortly after which I completed a two-month residency at PADA in Portugal.

London solo shows include The Soft Animal of Your Body at RuptureXIBIT, Wild Horses at Unit G Gallery, You are loved always at E5 Bakehouse, and Between the Two Waves of the Sea at London Made Me on Regent Street. Group exhibitions include Arc Salon Painswick curated by Anna Woodward, Crawl Space curated by Fresh Salad at Euston Crypt, The Graduate Art Fair at Woolff Gallery Mayfair, Works on Paper 5 at Blue Shop Cottage & The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

I have also curated a number of shows including The Wild Geese Call at Old Street Gallery and Ash + Sun at Somerton House in Bath. I have work in private and public collections internationally, including 31 St James' Sq in London and the Museum of Goa in India.

Lets see what we can

create TOGETHER

Feeling like your creativity got sidelined in a world fixated on goals and productivity? You're not alone. Most of us are a little bit trapped in this left-brain loop, neglecting our intuitive, creative side.

We excel at thinking but tend to stumble when it comes to feeling. When discomfort hits, we slap on distractions and seek quick fixes. But this means our feelings get stuck and seep out in other, usually unconscious, ways.

But fret not! With a degree in English, a Masters in Art, and extensive study of psychology and art therapy, I'm here to revitalise your right brain. For the past five years I’ve run workshops from my cozy spot at Stepney City Farm, as well as corporate retreats with companies like Sylvera Carbon and Google DeepMind. It’s my absolute joy to watch people rediscover their childish free spirit. (It’s already in there, I just help it come back out…)

How does it work? Think of it as a mental workout. We'll strengthen your right brain with arty exercises, forging new neural pathways. We’ll dismantle limiting beliefs and unlock your creative potential. But don’t worry, you won’t notice any of this is going on, because you’ll just be in the creative flow, making art for art’s sake whilst listening to music and sipping tea.

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned artist, let's reignite that creative spark! 🎨

Life can be so hard at that age, especially if stuff at home and/or school is tricky - and it’s hard to know where to turn. So, I’m so deeply passionate about my of offering of 1:1 mentoring for teenage girls + nb.

  • I adore guiding children to find their own unique way of creating. As Picasso said, ‘all children are artists. The problem is how to remain once we grow up.’ Children naturally create and express, and as they grow up the world teaches them to do things a certain way, to fit inside a box in order to get good grades and fit in. It’s my passion to keep that creative spark lit!

  • Coming soon…

‘You do not need anybody's permission to live a creative life.’
