A solo show at RuptureXIBIT in Hampton Wick. Delving into inner transformation and its ripple effects on the external world, this collection draws inspiration from the natural world and my recent experience of rehoming a duck, urging reconsideration of our relationship with our animal nature and self-nurturing.

‘The Dance’ was played as part of Georgie’s MA installation ‘An Archaeology of Soul’. The track explores the push and pull of masculine and feminine energetic dynamics inside us (separate from gender). The masculine needs independence and fears he can never be enough for the feminine. The feminine desires connection and fears being too much for the masculine. However, through understanding what the other needs, the energies can learn to dance together, embracing polarity and fostering inner harmony.

Bound and Drowned was made in conjunction with my work in the group show I curated, ‘The Wild Geese Call’. It refers to the women who were drowned as witches for being intuitive and powerful. These murders still happen across the world today: in Tanzania 500 witches have been burnt per year on average since 2008.

The song is about reclaiming this word to describe powerful, intuitive women.
