Creativity is one of the most important things to nurture in today’s world. It’s our connection to life, to our humanness and to the spiritual. When we nurture it the world opens up to us.
But so many people don’t have a space where they can be creative despite knowing they would feel more alive, happier and more ‘themself’ if they did.
That’s why we open the studio up every Tuesday evening. To give people a calm, inspiring and totally non-judgmental space to create in. There's nothing better than creating with other people (except creating with other people on a farm, with piglets oinking in the background).

Sessions are hosted by Georgie or Griselda (or both!) We are both local artists and really love sharing the studio and farm space with friendly faces!
The vibe
First and foremost, Farmyard Art Club is for ALL LEVELS. It’s a no judgment zone; in fact we encourage mediocre and positively BAD art because we all need to be less serious and self-critical.
We think the above point is not just a bit of fun but a revolutionary act, in today’s world, and very, very important. We must all take playing very seriously.
You could make a nice little birthday card for a pal, take yourself off into the farm and paint the pond or a ram. You could make miniature still lives or paint with your hands and see what happens. Or just sit and chat and drink wine and do a little doodle.
Georgie/Griselda will be around for chats and to show you where things are, but it's an unguided session - we’ll be working on our own BAD art.
Come with friends, or make new ones. Chat as much as you like, or put your headphones in. Do creativity your way.
We’ll provide some light snacks as well as as much tea as you like - but feel free to bring a bottle / order some food in.
The atmosphere is relaxed and flexible. If you’ll be a bit late or need to leave early no problemo.
