I loved coming to Georgie’s Weekend Workshop. It was the first time in a long time where I felt I could let go (of the reigns a bit!) in my work. Starting with initial sketching around the farm, Georgie led in some warm-up exercises, which really focused us into the space of what was to come. Exploring the different usage of materials (from what we collected around the farm), back in the studio we played with different textures we had gathered, allowing us to let our sources dictate our new creations! Georgie’s way of teaching is so refreshing and nuanced, I highly recommend Georgie’s art classes to anyone wanting to experience a sense of freedom in their work, or even to just go along and explore the great things Stepney City Farm has to offer! Thank you Georgie. I’ll definitely be back!

What a lovely little oasis Stepney City Farm is! I loved the different elements to the session: a little walk around the site, sitting in a little "cave" of trees as we tried to tap into the creative part of our brain and just let go! Georgie offered tea and coffee as we created our art and led us expertly with her gentle, genius, creative soul. I hope I can do this again. Thank you Georgie

My girls aged 8 and 11 joined one of Georgie Mason's painting classes this week. They had a wonderful time learning about painting techniques and how to include a range of texture into their artwork. They had so much fun during the 2 hour session and each produced 2 brilliant canvases to bring home. Georgie was very kind and patient and my girls were absolutely delighted by the whole experience. I highly recommend her classes.

My best friend gifted me a workshop class with Georgie, and it was absolutely amazing experience. Georgie is not only incredibly talented but also a wonderful teacher. She introduced me to several painting techniques I had never encountered before, and her way of explaining things made it all feel so approachable and fun.
We tried the techniques directly on the artwork, and the results were absolutely beautiful. The final piece was stunning, and I left feeling very inspired.
If you’re considering taking a class with Georgie, I highly recommend it!

Team workshop for JP Morgan

Our recent team building workshop at Georgie's art studio, nestled in the tranquil Stepney City Farm was a refreshing and memorable experience.

We kicked off with art exercises sketching the farm's resident animals - some masterpieces and hilarious efforts! Georgie guided us through creative meditation techniques helping us tap into a new way of seeing and drawing and removing my previous inhibitions about being unable to draw.
Every single person produced an impressive canvas, surprising themselves with their hidden talents. The process was messy, creative and fun - exactly what a team building day should be.
Georgie was inspiring, calm and a lovely host, making everyone feel comfortable and encouraging us to embrace our creativity. The venue was perfect and only a stones throw from busy streets with a lovely cafe on site for cake, coffee or a glass of wine afterwards.

Overall, the workshop was a fantastic way to bond, unwind and discover new sides to ourselves and each other. I would highly recommend this.

(Wild Creative Weekend Retreat)

I attended the Wild Creativity Retreat that Georgie hosted with Laura Paine and honestly cannot recommend it enough!

The weekend was so well thought out, in a beautiful location with the most delicious food and lots of lovely like-minded people.

I’ve not had much experience with painting and find it hard to know how to experiment but Georgie has an incredible way of guiding you through different exercises to help you let go and just get back to ‘playing’.

I left feeling so much more inspired and open to experimenting more creatively.

Laura’s guidance with cooking was so approachable and has made me think completely differently about how to use ingredients and come up with recipes.

This was my first retreat and I’m so happy I went! Will definitely come along to more of Georgie’s classes in future.

I attended a group class with a friend and we had the most enjoyable and relaxing time. It was a lovely reset, being in peaceful surroundings and having no pressure to create anything specific. I would absolutely recommend for anyone to attend, with a friend or alone- great opportunity to meet some lovely new people!! Hope to come back for another group session and use some more of the techniques Georgie demonstrated! Thank you so much for the best day!

Georgie is not only an amazing artist, but also completely relatable. She has an amazing way to help you free your inhibitions and embrace the freedom needed to get the most out of yourself and her workshop. I LOVED this short abstract painting course! Georgie was so friendly and encouraging, and the setting of her studio was brilliant - especially as we had a sunny day and therefore had benches set up outside. All in all a lovely wholesome day, highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience having 1-2-1 sessions with Georgie, producing my first ever painting which is now hanging on my wall at home!

The farm is a wonderful setting for creativity, and Georgie always incorporated mindfulness, playfulness and permission to make mistakes, which made the whole process so enjoyable.

She is a brilliantly talented guide and human :-)
